Dr. Marty’s Six Steps to a Positive Mindset (Part 3 of a 3 part series)
Here are six steps that I’ve developed to developing a positive mind set.
- Pay attention to what you are telling yourself
- Calm down
- Listen to both the negative (emotional) and positive (logical) voices in your head.
- Have a conversation between the voices, you may even want to write down the conversation.
- Think about what you want the outcome to be
- Continue the conversation until the voices motivate you to behave in a way that comes closest to your outcome
The more we come from a positive mindset the better our quality of life.
