I am an Individual, Couples and Family Therapist. My goal is to help you solve problems in your relationship(s). Clients who come to see me become aware of why they struggle; they come to understand themselves at an enhanced emotional level. These individuals have met the first step in immediately altering how they can more effectively communicate with others. The second step involves anger. All of us have anger at times, and it is a good thing because it sends us a message that what is going on in our lives just does not feel right. Anger, if processed properly, can be transformed into your voice of change. This change leads you to feel more confident in speaking on your own behalf, which helps you meet your needs, resolve conflict, and progress to step three. Step three is ‘knowing how’ to communicate what you have learned and experienced, so that alone or together you can lead a healthier, happier life.
I am a relationship friendly therapist trained in PAIRS® (Practical Applications for Intimate Relationship Skills), Relationship Enhancement (RE), Couples Communication, PREPARE/ENRICH, Couples Checkup, Mindfulness Meditation (MBSR) and Victim Crisis Intervention. In addition to helping individuals, couples and families in my New Hope office, I am a staff therapist and Supervisor with Council for Relationships in Pennsylvania.
