I have created these scales so that folks, who are concerned about trust in their relationship, can have some guidelines to see how well they are doing with this issue.
Trust is so important in relationships, once it is broken it takes a great deal to restore it. The partner who has lost the trust must work every day for a long time to get their partner to really trust them. Though belief in a partner may never be totally restored it can be repaired and the couple can go on to grow together and recapture the love that had been lost as a result of the mistrust.
